I forgot to show you what Zoey got me for Christmas...
She replicated a photo of me when I was her age, right down to the pearls*. I'd be lying if I said this didn't make me a little teary.** I'd also be lying if I didn't say I felt some sick sense of BOW DOWN BEFORE MY AWESOMELY STRONG DNA.
*With the help of her Grandma DD.
**Then again, I also got teary the other day when Jamba Juice told me they were out of Peanut Butter Moo'd.

That is the sweetest gift I've ever seen. It makes ME teary!
OH SUSANNAH...
That's the most unbelievable pics. ever. I cannot believe how much Zoey looks like you. So sweet! Thanks for sharing!
That is frickin' awesome!
we did this with my nephew and a photo of my brother. such a lovely thing to have now and look back at
That is the best gift. I used to wear a tiara at my grandparents' house when I was little, too. Glad you shared this with us.
My boys look mostly just like me with a little of their dad thrown in once in awhile. I like it. xo
I went crazy when the food court at Fashion Island didn't have pasta noodles at the salad bar. My lunch consisted of hard boiled eggs, cold pasta, cottage cheese, and a pound of salt and pepper. STIR. If one of the ingredients was missing, take cover....
That is the best gift ever and yes, your DNA is amazingly strong. Can't wait to see who the new little one looks like.
What a precious gift. I thought I had strong DNA. But yours - wow! It looked like I had nothing to do with my daughter when she was born, but after a few months my DNA started taking over and it hasn't stopped. I have blonde haired, blue eyed recessive genes and my husband has strong Asian genes, but the bigger she gets, the more my mighty viking genes take hold. But you and Zoey - that's just spooky!
This is totally sweet and amazing. Every generation needs a tiara!
so cool.
It's like you gave birth to yourself.
