Anatomy of a Sick Day

11:30am: Phone call from daycare to report that Zoey has a fever of 102 degrees. I must come collect my child ASAP before extremities acutely fall off the other children in the leprostatic hysteria that is the common cold in confined quarters.

Noon: Arrive home. Zoey demands to watch The Little Mermaid. Her temperature is now miraculously 98 degrees and she wants to sit on top of the coffee table, not the couch as the couch is for babies. Direct quote.

Sometime after Ariel meets Prince Eric and sings ahahhhahhhhh: Zoey begins to decline.

1pm: The couch is no longer for babies.

And she's out.
As am I.
Back tomorrow!

Aw, you can tell in that second picture she doesn't feel well at all. Poor baby. She still is so darn cute, though. :)

She's the most adorable little sick girl I've ever seen. I srill want to eat her up virus eyes and all! And she looks so much like you AND Andy Boy in the "decine" shot; it really takes me back. There is no more miserable a look as a sick child. It all just shows in their face and eyes.

Careful, if it's the same bug that "we" seem to be passing around at work, it's a Bitch to get rid of. Two weeks later and I'm still not feeling "well". The worst part of this one for me has been that it just makes me stupid and spacey...and tired. And these days I don't have any spare IQ points to fritter away.

Get well soon my little Zobo.
Grandma Glitter (well still a bit dull actually)

Sorry, PF, but
Malik scares me a little.

It may have something to do with the scull and crossbones AYE!

When Jen first posted "creepy poster" I went back to my post thinking I had a poster on the wall behind Zoey that she thought was creepy. I was so confused. The only thing you could possibly make out was a Botero reproduction which, yes, it might be creepy of me to have a repro painting. But then I saw JackeeG's response and realized they are talking about Malik!

:)

And they're right. I think Malik might be spam because I got the same comment on 4 of my posts. So I think I'm going to delete...

Oh...isn't that just like a sick day! You think, "Now I can actually do what I'd like today: watch a movie, read a book, paint my toenails...", which of course fades into the reality of feeling like burnt toast with a side of moldy jelly. *sigh* hope you had some rest and that she is on the fast road to recovery!

She is too cute for words. Her little pedicured feet are sooo cute. She should take that as the highest compliment known to man as I fear feet! Hope the little lady is feeling better!
