Even though I don't know you well...at all really...I am so happy for you.
I feel like we kinda' have the same relationship as me and my gyno.. I don't "really" know her either, but for some reason I still spread my legs and carry on conversation with her all the while my underwear lay comfortably hidden under my clothes on the chair.
We don't know eachother...but yet we do. You've shared personal, heart wrenching, happy, sad, hurtful feelings with us and we've listened, cried, and offered insight when applicable.
I am so glad that things are on the up. The new job, a happy job, a new baby...all of it...CONGRATS!!!
As for the pregnancy...I am hoping you will feel better soon sista'. I, know all too well about things swelling and being all discombobulated. I was so sick, could barely walk b/c I was so dizzy. My Dr. scheduled an ultrasound and there it was...TWO babies. It felt as if all of the air was sucked out of the room. I started crying...happy, angry, scared tears. The US tech. rubbed my arm and said "you'll be happy again someday"! Guess what? She was right, many times over. Although I did doubt her at 3 in the morning many nights while holding a baby in each arm, trying to feed and burp them.
It ain't gonna be easy. Things will change. But, you will adjust, Bryan will adjust, and Zoey will adjust and then...one day you will wake up and not remember a time before this second baby. It will seem like this is the way it's always been, because that's the way it was meant to be.
Have you verified that there's only one in there? Just kidding! I am elated for you and your precious family! ENJOY this time!
