Sometimes a Bad Pizza Is Just Bad

I never thought I would say this but the new 90210? It's kinda' like pushing rope. And if you don't know that expression you're missing out because it is my new favoritest thing to say, ever. Not that I have ever had any experience with it (dear husband), or with rope of any kind (Dad, Mom, Andy, in-laws... why am I even writing this? Because the saying is just that good). So yeah, bring back babydoll dresses and David Silver singing because the new 90210 needs to just roll over and go to sleep.

I am only commenting because I have been mentioned re: rope. I personally prefer, "Pissin' up a rope."

Re: 90210, I agree with Jennifer.

.... and I shoulda won the fossil.

9021Oh-No.

I thought it sucked balls.

I'm really upset by it. I feel victimized.

I watched one hour of it and am now terrified to have children. Do girls really give blow jobs in the parking lot before first hour? Do kids really hide drugs in their school books? Am I really this old?

Bring back Donna Martin getting drunk before prom!

I'll be watching it tonight, but I've only heard bad things about it so far. Gossip Girl, on the other hand is freakin' so GOOD, no, make that grea. (if you'r looking for a new show to add to your list, of course).

You said "pushing rope" I thought pounding sand...Not the same. I see that now. For a second I thought I wasn't missing out, but no, I'm still a dork.

Pushing rope. hun. I just learned something.

I didn't see 90210. I've been hearing & reading a lot of bad reviews today though... Now I don't have to waste my time with it.

O.K. my age is speaking now. Am I correct in assuming that, in the context you're using the phrase "pushing rope", we are playing around with the concept of a flaccid dick attempting the impossible, or as in, "it just ain't gonna happen?
If I am to learn the lingo, I guess I have to out myself as an old fart? Or did I miss it entirely?

As to 90210...new, old scmold....Aaaaaagh, vomit. And I haven't even seen (nor plan to) the "new version" and maybe 15 minutes in toto of the original. Tory Spelling has always made me gag. I am almost certain that she and Rumer Willis were both Fathered by Jay Leno with those lantern jaws and thick necks. The ONLY thing I find remarkable about Tory Spelling is that, with ALL the money in the world, every opportunity for stylists, air-brushing, plastic surgeries galore, facials, weaves and on and on and on, she STILL barely passes for homely!

Gotta run. Hope I haven't embarassed you or myself too much. WHAT is the site you look up "urban slang?" maybe then I won't have to humiliate myself as much.

i'm sorry but annie auditioning for the school play was about the worst acting i ever saw. someone get that girl to a mcdonald's and super size it.

the best acting job on the show was the coked out actress wannabe who choked on her audition. she had a very faruiza balk in the craft vibe to me.

and all the "but he is your dad and you are his son" thing with the TBG (token black guy) adopted kid was annoying.

Nevermind.....I finally utilized the quite remarkable, "Dictionary Of Urban Slang". I actually was right but it wasn't 'cause I'm cool or anything (as demonstrated by my asking!)but just because I'm probably a dirty-minded old lady. Now I don't have to shame myself in future by asking or go crazy wondering but not asking.

BTW, I DO know that Tory Spelling isn't in the new 90210. As an avid reader of the Tabs/Rags, I even know why. I also know her husband's pissed because now he can't get a bit part on the new show-for which he was a wishin' and a hopin'. Now I'm off to look up "Pounding Sand" or was Tobi's comment meant to intentionally confuse me?

I'm so glad I forgot to watch it or Tivo it. I've heard nothing but bad things about it. But I have to agree with Amber.... Gossip Girl premiere on Monday night? AWESOME! I would take Gossip Girl over 90210 (yes, even the original 90210) any day of the week.

Man that's funny. I'll have to share with my H. I thought it was a euphanism for taking a s**t. You know, like "touching cotton".

Pushing rope.

They are STILL hanging out at "The Pit" and now the new girl with bangs is choking down the pills a la Donna Martin getting drunk and falling down at the prom.

Oh, and "Silver's" blog is disgraceful!
