I Want to Meet This Csobi

You know those DVD's you can buy of a crackling fireplace? How some people put them on as the background of a party, or, I don't know, who knows why humans get all fugue state staring at fire? Well, here is the next big thing, this video. I totally want to put this on a loop today, the first day back at work after a long weekend. Apparently this woman is Hungarian and the story is about some guy named Csobi who fell off a stool. Probably more of a you-had-to-be-there tale, but honestly it doesn't matter that you can't understand her. In fact, it might make it better.

I am more than a little bit in love with this giggling gnome of a woman, and I really wish I had her laugh. (Fact: I have serious laugh envy. I don't naturally laugh out loud, nor have I ever, not even once, ROFLMAO. True, I think things are funny, hysterical even. I have certainly peed my pants a few times laughing, but for the most part I smile and breathe heavy through my nose. It's a hoot, as they say, but I would love to be more of a burst out laughing kind of girl, infectious, snot rockets and all. I would love to make people laugh just by laughing myself.)

Anyhoo, that's that. Ha!
Happy Tuesday,
S

Oh, I love her! I want her to be my friend. (And my grandma.)

Thanks for making me happy on a blah-ish stinking hot out after-long-weekend-Tuesday. I so needed that!

*** THANKS~ what a F*U*N way to start the day!!!

I found myself here, first w/ a huuuuge GRIN, & then found that my eyes were wide, like saucers, n' my mouth was shaped in a big "O", & I was smiling SOOO BIG that my eyes were watering!!!

My dearest friend Barb and I CAN get so carried away that WE can get like that... & lemme tell you, our sides hurt for days afterwards! That's one of the reasons I love her so much... we've noticed thru the years that if this DOES happen when our HUSBANDS are present, they are at FIRST in AWE, then THEY start smiling so big THEY are laughing at US laughing..... what a fabulous joy in life!!

THANKS for the UPPER!!!

Good one.

We made the hot dogs and spaghetti 2 times this weekend. Once my daughter and I and another time my husband and my daughter. My daughter thinks they are the best food ever. Ha!

I have a friend who laughs like this. Matter of fact a few weeks ago we were out shopping and stopped to get a bite to eat. There I was leisurely slurping my milkshake, when said friend chokes on hers, blasting me with Reese's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream. We laughed so hard, and even harder when I moved and we saw a perfect outline of my body on the vinyl padding behind me. It was a cartoon moment. My friend laughed just like the woman in the video. Her laugh makes me happy!

Ok, so I am honored to have seen you all out laughing like this. Maybe it was the only time? You may recall: LAX, Airport Bar and Val Kilmer at the end of our shop and gawk trip?
I can't remember what was so funny, but I do remember we had the all out giggles and snorts and tears--the whole enchilada for reals.
I just really wish I could remember what was so funny...

Rosalie, just so you know, the other day when we were in that book store and you were laughing at that "bad news" book? That's when it dawned on me that I have laugh envy. You have a great laugh.

And yeah, I don't remember why Val Kilmer was so funny either, but I do remember laughing so hard we could barely breathe. :)

xo all,
S
