I Do Believe I Have Found My Boogie Body

Meet my new Guru.

Get loose for Heaven's sake! Don't you know how to get loose by now? I should think you wooouuuld! Ah, truer words were never spoken. Find it! Feel it! Do it! And then when the other two stall out? Takes my breath away, I tell you. Take it up, take it up, take it down, take it down! I could go on and on and on, this lady is wisdom wearing white stirrup tights, I love her that much.

Hot Dog!
Happy Hump Day,
Susannah

Hey. I've been following your blog for awhile and love it! This video is by far the best thing I've seen in a long time. I posted it on my own blog (with due thanks to you included, of course)!

'The bigger the circle, the thinner the waist.' Great widsom on this fine day. My only question, what exactly did you google to find these specimens of good taste?

Oh Susannah...
Too funy... I wish I would have had a video camera in hand. Clicked on the video and all 3 of my kids broke out into spontaneous dance. How cute to see a 4 yr. old and TWO 2 1/2 yr. olds shaking their booty bodies. Thanks for initiating the smiles that video brought out.

The first ten seconds alone make my knees hurt. Am I displaying my age too much when I say I actually used to do the 20 Minute Workout in my teens (starring the girl who played Sarah Connor's roommate from the first Terminator who got killed in the first 10 minutes of the movie).
A little trivia to start your day.

I think it's the woman who started Jazzercise--Judi Sheppard Misset? And either she's on coke (it being the 80's and all) or she is just inherently awesomely awesome awesomeness.

I think she ingested some amphetamines with her morning smoothie.

is she really tan? I think she was the pre-cursor to rap...

I really want to be one of those backup girls, but I don't have it by now and apparently I'll never have it. Sigh!

YOu know who she reminds me of? The really, really tan lady on Something About Mary.

I love how she implores the audience to move and boogie without ever actually lifting your feet.

Hot dog! I watched this with my hand to my mouth--stunned. I just don't know what to say except thank you. I had no idea exercise could be so much fun!

This woman is the brie cheese to my fig spread, the peanuts on my chocolate ice cream, the conditioner to my shampoo. I love her! She is what my Mum would call a hot ticket and what I would call a hot shit. This just made my day (and I needed some cheering what with the elephant abuse and all). Thanks, once again, for tracking down such great clips.

Okay, funny thing here. I reposted this video on my Facebook. One of my friends then posted it on his FB profile page. It received TONS of hysterical, slightly mocking comments until...here's the good part...one of his friends wrote on his wall something along the lines of, "hey, i taught Jazzercize classes all through the 80s and those gals are friends of mine." Gah!

The audio in this video is in stereo, with her voice in one speaker and the music in the other. The first time I watched this video one of my speakers was not working so I had no idea there was music. All I saw was this woman shouting and dancing and it was very bizarre.

I'm so glad my Jazzercise instructor doesn't make us do this one!

Your blog is wonderfully fun! Stopped by from SITS :)
